All iPADs are the property of the University. The instruments may not be sold, loaned, or given away.
Faculty and Staff can purchase the instrument at any time for a price that will be prorated based on age and use. Any employee leaving the University must return the iPAD or the prorated cost of the instrument will be deducted from their final paycheck. After two years the device becomes the Faculty/Staff members property and responsibility.
Students who received an iPad between fall 2011 and fall 2013 must maintain full-time enrollment for one complete, sequential academic year before assuming ownership of the instrument. Students withdrawing before the completion of one academic year must return the iPAD to the University. Failure to do so will result in the prorated cost being added to their billing statement and will result in a hold on academic records until payment is complete.
The University reserves the right to inspect any device that has been assigned to a student, faculty, or staff member.
