Outreach and Consultation
All the Rudy Wellness Center clinical staff members share outreach and consultation activities. These duties are monitored, coordinated, and processed by staff members.

Outreach may include the following activities: disseminating general information about health and wellness issues; providing information about the Rudy Wellness Center services and resources; providing programs, workshops, or presentations; information provided by the Center website; interviews/articles for campus or community newspapers, radio, television; and attendance at campus and community committees, task forces, and advisory boards. Outreach activities are provided primarily to the campus community, although outreach programs may be offered to the general community where deemed appropriate by the Rudy Wellness Center Director.

The Rudy Wellness Center provides a web page as part of the CU internet service for students, faculty and staff. The web page provides information regarding the Centers services, hours of operations, procedures for obtaining services, and staff. The Director maintains the web quality and timeliness thru consultation with the CU web developers.

Requests for outreach activities are generally received by the Director, who then assigns a speaker depending on the skills, interest, and availability of the clinical staff. The staff member doing the activity must have Program Evaluation (Appendix M) forms completed after the event to provide feedback for the presenter and the Center.
When Residence Life staff request programs, they are asked to combine several floors for one program to assure adequate attendance.
The Director keeps a master record of the workshops and number in attendance. Each staff member records attendance information for the programs they conduct and turns that number over to the Director. It is important to record each outreach activity and the number in attendance so the information can be accurately accounted for in the annual statistics of Center services.
