Policy Provisions
1.

Clinical Services


1.1

Health/Wellness Visits


Services will be provided during the regular fall and spring semesters when classes are in session.  Services will not be available on weekends, holidays and during scheduled semester breaks.  The following services will be provided:

 

1. Urgent care for minor illnesses and injuries

2. Health assessments and physical examinations

3. Consultation, treatment and referrals

4. Over the counter medications for minor illnesses

5. Allergy shots

6. Immunizations and titers

7. First aid services

8. Health counseling and information services

a. Diet/nutrition/weight management

b. Community agency information and referrals

c. Mental health referrals

9. Lab services

10. Women’s Well Exams with Pap Test


1.2

Psychiatric Consultation


The Rudy Wellness Center does not have a psychiatrist on staff.  Clients who need to be evaluated for mental health issues are referred to the Campus Counseling Center where they are scheduled with a physician, psychiatrist, or nurse practitioner in the community.


1.3

Satisfaction Survey


The Rudy Wellness Center provides an anonymous Client Visit Survey (Appendix I) to clients served by the Center.  The survey is available in the Rudy Wellness Center Director’s office for clients’ use.  At randomly designated times throughout the year, Clinicians will distribute the survey and ask clients to complete and return it.  This survey will assess the client’s satisfaction with services received at the center.
