Policy Provisions
1.

University Sanctioned Activities Policy

While students are expected to attend all of their classes, exceptions are made for University-sanctioned activities.  Students shall not be penalized for such absences.  Students anticipating participation in University functions which take them out of classes should discuss these absences with their instructors at the earliest convenient time.  The student is responsible for work missed.

All School of Nursing and Health Sciences students are expected to personally leave messages for course Faculty (or follow instructions in the course syllabus) in the event of unavoidable absence from class or laboratory.  Students should make every effort to speak personally with the Faculty as soon as an absence or tardiness is expected.
