Policy Provisions
1.

Identification Cards


Employee identification cards will be issued to all Faculty through the Office of Residence Life or the Office of Student Development. This will be validated annually. Lost cards should be replaced by the Office of Residence Life as soon as the loss is determined. Cumberland University identification cards must be available at all times.


2.

Keys


Keys for offices, buildings, and athletic facilities will be issued to all faculty, staff, and coaches through either HR or the employee's immediate supervisor.  Duplicate keys should be requested through the Office of Safety and Security. Lost keys should be reported as soon as the loss is determined. Cumberland University reserves the right to develop check-in, check-out procedures for all keys, particularly those that must be shared by multiple employees.  No faculty, staff, or coach should duplicate a key that is clearly marked "DO NOT DUPLICATE."
