This committee is comprised of the Vice President for Online and Professional Studies, the Vice President for Academic Affairs, the Online Deans, and one Faculty member representing one of the online programs who is designated by the Faculty Senate. This committee represents the faculty on all matters pertaining to revision of undergraduate and graduate academic courses and programs, curricula considerations, and academic policies of the university that are delivered through the Universitys Online and Professional Studies programs. Its role is to review, propose, and serve as guardians of all such courses, curriculum, and academic policies, and to recommend actions to the University President for final authorization. OSAC does not have authority over courses, programs, curricula considerations and academic policies of the university that are delivered outside of the Universitys Online and Professional Studies programs. Final decisions of OSAC are made by the Universitys Vice President for Online and Professional Studies following consultation with the other members of the committee.
