Students who have completed one degree at Cumberland University may earn a second degree at the same level (Bachelor or Associate) at Cumberland University. An Approved program of study must be submitted to the Vice President for Academic Affairs and the Dean of the appropriate School before the end of the first semester of course work toward the second degree. Students must complete the program of study for the second degree. Courses taken in the first degree may also be used in the second degree. Students who have completed one degree at another institution may earn a second degree at the same level (Bachelor or Associate) at Cumberland University.
The requirements are as follows:

Completion of at least twenty-five percent (25%) or 30 out of the 120 total semester hours required for the degree at Cumberland University. For a bachelors degree, the student must have at least twenty-fivepercent (25%) or 12-15 of the required hours for the degree in upper division (300-400 numbered courses) credit hours earned through Cumberland University. |

Maintenance of a 2.00 or higher GPA cumulative grade point average in the undergraduate degree program. |

Achievement of sufficient academic performance on previous course work. |
| 4. |
Completion of a major area other than the major area(s) completed at the time the first degree was awarded. |
