Give your child a musical head start with a Kindermusik class! Kindermusik is a five-week, early childhood music and movement program which uses songs, dance steps, movement and listening activities to nurture your child's language, physical, cognitive, emotional, social and musical development. In addition to the weekly class, which is built around a specific theme, you and your child receive home materials for daily use to reinforce your child's in-class experiences. These age-appropriate materials have been carefully designed and tested by Kindermusik International's professional early childhood development specialists.

Our Time (16 months - 4 years)

Curriculum: Creatures at the Ocean

During each class, we will enjoy story time, finger plays, song games, chants, creative movement, focused listening and instrument exploration. This wonderful program engages the curiousity, natural musical gifts and sensitivity of very young children. Children love Creatures at the Ocean because they sing, move and play with Mom, Dad or a caregiver while learning about the great outdoors, nature-friendly ideas and all kinds of interesting creatures unique to the coastal environment. We will dive into lessons like Ahoy There, On My Beach Blanket, Coastal Waters, Riding the Waves and In the Deep Blue Sea. So put on your beach clothes and join us for an ocean adventure!

Tuition: $100 (If tuition is paid in full by Monday, June 9, it is $95.) Held on five Mondays (June 16, 23, 30, July 7 and 14) as an evening class from 5:45 until 6:30 p.m.

Giggles (4 years - 7 years)

Curriculum: Dance with Me

Dance with Me features the music and dance of "one-two" rhythms and "one-two-three" rhythms. In class, we'll hear real instruments from the ballet and learn a few dance steps, too. Activities like dance, where your child follows a short sequence of instructions, helps to strengthen memory and his ability to follow directions. At home, play the CD in your Student Kit and let your pre-schooler show you a new step or two.

Tuition: $100 (If tuition is paid in full by Monday, June 9, it is $95.) Held on five Thursdays (June 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30) as an evening class from 6:45 until 7:30 p.m.
